Calibration Instruments

Calibration Instruments is our largest department, covering the reference tools that keep plant and laboratory measurements traceable: pressure calibrators and modules, deadweight testers, temperature calibrators and dry-well/bath units, and loop calibrators. Typical users include oil & gas and petrochemical sites, power plants, pharmaceutical and food manufacturers, and third-party calibration labs. Brands in this category include Additel, Druck, Fluke Calibration, Fluke Pressurements, Ametek (Jofra and M&G), Martel, Crystal Engineering, DH-Budenberg, Ashcroft/Heise, WIKA and Isotech. When selecting a calibrator, compare its accuracy against the instruments you will test (a 4:1 ratio is a common rule of thumb), confirm the range and units you need, check field versus bench use, documenting and HART capability, and plan for the reference instrument’s own periodic recalibration.
