Process Instruments covers field devices used to measure, communicate with and control industrial processes: flowmeters, HART field communicators, transmitters, transducers, switches, controllers and enclosures. Typical applications are water and wastewater, oil & gas, chemical, HVAC and building automation, and food and beverage plants. When specifying, confirm the process medium, pressure and temperature range, required output signal (4-20 mA, HART, Modbus or relay), process connection and wetted materials. For hazardous areas, check the certification your site requires. Clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters are worth considering when pipes cannot be cut or shut down for installation.
