Gas flow controllers, also called mass flow controllers, measure the flow of a gas and hold it at a set point, so a process gets a steady supply without manual valve adjustment. This page lists Dwyer Series GFC gas mass flow controllers. GFC-11xx models have an aluminum flow body, and GFC-21xx models use 316 stainless steel for gases that are not compatible with aluminum. The set point can be adjusted locally or remotely with a 0 to 5 VDC or 4 to 20 mA signal, and the flow output uses the same signals. Dwyer specifies accuracy of ±1% of full scale for most ranges (±1.5% for the X143 models).
