Megger Baker 99-EP1000-1500RC EP1000 Dynamic Motor Link with 1500 A Split-Core CTs
The Megger Baker 99-EP1000-1500RC is an EP1000 Dynamic Motor Link (dynamic test access port) supplied with three 1500 A split-core current transformers, 600 V maximum. Installed permanently in a motor control cabinet, it gives the Baker EXP4000 Dynamic Motor Analyzer a low-voltage connection port on the cabinet door, so running motors can be tested without opening the cabinet.
Description
The Megger Baker 99-EP1000-1500RC is the EP1000-1500 version of the Baker EP1000 Dynamic Motor Link, also listed as a Dynamic Test Access Port. It is an accessory for the Baker EXP4000 Dynamic Motor Analyzer. It is not a stand-alone tester and does not measure insulation resistance.
The EP1000 is installed permanently inside a motor control cabinet (MCC). It brings the motor’s voltage and current signals to a low-voltage connection port on the cabinet door. To test a motor, the technician connects the EXP4000 to that port, so the cabinet does not have to be opened and the motor can stay in service while it is tested.
This kit is supplied with three 1500 A split-core current transformers rated 600 V maximum, for higher-current motor circuits. Split-core CTs open to fit around existing conductors, so the conductors do not have to be disconnected.
- Order code: 99-EP1000-1500RC (EP1000-1500)
- Type: permanently installed dynamic motor test access port for MCCs
- Current transformers: 3 x split-core, 1500 A, 600 V maximum
- Also supplied: MCC door connector plate and cable
- For use with: Baker EXP4000 Dynamic Motor Analyzer
Sites with many motors can use EP1000 ports to collect EXP4000 data on power quality, current, machine performance and spectrum during routine predictive maintenance. A qualified electrician should do the installation, following the EP1000 installation manual.
